LIGHT: The photojournalism of Don Rutledge - I was honored to be asked to produce this book about the life and career of photographer Don Rutledge, whose work includes assignments from Black Star picture agency in New York + photo stories in Life, Look, Newsweek, Stern and Paris-Match magazines, among others.

AFGHANISTAN ... at the edge - Done for the IMB's theCOMMISSION magazine while I was on staff as design editor of the publication. During a time when journalists were not allowed to travel in Afghanistan, I was speaking at a photojournalism conference in the States. After my first session, a photographer asked me to review his portfolio, and here was our coverage!
